Terms of Use

Published September 23, 2026. These guidelines explain the intended use of Lenape Ni Ta. They do not claim that existing members have accepted a new agreement.

Your own account

Keep your password private and use your own account. Invite relatives to request their own access. Protected membership is for verified enrolled Delaware Nation citizens age 18 and over. Public project pages may be shared by everyone. Project access is not a determination of tribal enrollment.

Respect one another

Participate respectfully. Do not harass, threaten, impersonate others or share another person’s private information without permission.

Care for the collection

Use member materials for the learning purposes allowed by the project and each item’s permissions. Do not redistribute restricted recordings, books, lessons or family records, share access credentials, or use automated tools to extract protected collections without permission. Public promotional materials are intended to be shared.

Contributions and permission

Submit only material you have permission to contribute, and identify any family, cultural or other restrictions. These guidelines do not transfer ownership of your work or grant public-distribution permission. Recording contributions remain subject to their specific consent and approval process.

Sources and corrections

Learning and historical materials may contain uncertainty or errors. Respect source references and report corrections to the project owner. The project is not an official enrollment, legal or government service.

Access and concerns

The owner reviews access and suspected misuse. Access may be restricted to protect members or materials. Raise questions about an access decision with the project owner through the contact you used to arrange membership.

Privacy

Our Privacy notice explains account information, activity records and public visit measurement. These guidelines do not promise that screenshots or unauthorized copying can be completely prevented.

Lenape Ni Ta is an independent citizen-led project, not an official Delaware Nation government service. Publishing this page does not create a new acceptance requirement or change existing recording permissions.
